AdWords Logins

Posted: October 18, 2005

Many have protested that Google is going to tie in advertising logins with Gmail logins.

Can you blame them?

Is it going to be that I need to get mail from Google Gmail, Yahoo (search marketing) mail, Hotmail (for MSN PPC) just to be able to advertise?

Most of my email addresses are strictly forward to other email addresses. I don’t want to deal with many email addresses just for a corporations ability to collect info.

I dumped GMail the minute my GMail Notifier tried to autoupdate itself, which is the same reason I dropped the Google toolbar. I want to CONTROL my own browser & computer. Any software that tries to auto update itself has a huge potential for harming a computer.

Anyway, enough of that rant and onto the information.

AdWords has two new FAQs dealing with these logins:
1. How to keep personal in corporate information seperate (FAQ)
2. How to share access to an AdWords account (which could prove useful since MCCs can only be linked to another MCC from a single point). (FAQ)
