PPC Titles: Visitors over Branding - Higher Click Through Rate

Posted: January 30, 2004

If your websites goals include attracting a lot of visitors to your website, and from your website, remember your company name and website address, then you need to take a different approach to your pay per click titles. Include your keyword exactly as it is written in your title.

Do not include any words not directly related to the keyword in your title. The additional words you want to add to this type of keyword title are those that will induce people to click on your ad. This could be a call to action or related to the keywords which makes the pay per click listing seem more appealing.

Experiment with a variety of titles and see which ones gather the highest click through rates.
