Flickr has an API

October 23, 2005

I was playing around with flickr this morning, and noticed they now have an API.

While APIs are very much considered part of Web 2.0, the fact that a photo sharing service (also owned by Yahoo) has implemented an API is interesting.

For those who like to syndicate and manipulate data through APIs, this one looks like it has quite a bit of possibility. Flickr supports quite a few languages (programming ones) in their API setup.

Enjoy, Flickr Services.
