AdWords Editor V3 to be released this week
Posted: February 21, 2007
I just heard that the newest version of the editor will be out this week with several new features.
It will finally have the ability to add and edit site-targeting campaigns. The implementation of this one will be interesting as most of the choices for site-targeting campaigns are search or browser driven. Will you have to be online to use this feature, or will it be an offline database?
Pausing and resuming keywords will be added.
And finally, background posting. If this works like I’m hoping, it will be a much anticipated improvement.

Any word whether local business ads will be supported or if keyword limits will still be 80 characters on AdWords Editor v3?
This is great news indeed as it is one of my most important tools. The issue I have is that it tries to keep track of too many background variables, thus peaking my (fast) CPU when I edit a big adgroup. I am hoping they nailed that. Thanks for the news.

I’m hoping to be able to view QS in the new editor and background posting will be a much needed improvement.
